How to change or setup blogspot domain into custom domain

In world many people are interested in blogging. Blogging at the blogger.com gives free services like free hosting, free website. If you want to change blogger blogspot domain to .com domain is simply process or if you already have registered custom domain then  add like this follow simple procedure.

Not have blogger account then create blog from blogger.com then create a new blog create some posts then go to Settings after click on Basic then under the publishing section click add custom domain.

Now in the Advanced settings type new domain name example www.example.com then click save button now blogger shows an error like “ we have not been able to verify your authority to this domain, error 12 please follow the settings instructions.

Once you have choosen setup instructions at the beginning of instructions. If you click that link before that error above. You can not configure CNAME correctly

Domain ownership verification token :

Once you have succesfully choosen option setup instructions dialogue opens. Now here you seen cname ownership verfication code

Pay attention to the two codes highlighted in the screenshot these two are ownership tokens of domain  example codes are like this “J6VKJNRFUDX6”       and another code “gv-JWLTPCFOOA27RPMP3PPEPPW4KZUGVEMMZK365WBH4uHOPYEFBMA.domainverify.googlehosted.com” don’t add these tokens these are examples only you enter only your tokens.

Now change settings of DNS

Go to domain name registrars entered into DNS CONSOL panel and log in navigate HOST RECORDS click edit

ADD CNAME

For Host Name/Name/Label  or HOST” field,  enter  “www” without quotes

For Address/Destination/Target or Points To field, enter “ghs.google.com” without quotes

Now add another CNAME this is used for domain name verification

At Host name field paste the first code already known at the second place enter second code above you already known.

Now add A records If you already have A records modify them if you don’t have then click on ADD button

You must and should add  4 sepearate A records pointing to the following internet protocal addresses\

216.239.32.21

216.239.34.21

216.239.36.21

216.239.38.21

Enter each ip at the Address field in the corresponding host name field enter your domains naked URL without “www” example www.example.com

Finally click on save button and wait few minutes for update your domain settings.

Final step update blogger settings

Now go back to Settings on the basic section again enter your custom domain name with www

Tick on redirect option

Now click on save button  again shows Unable to verify authority wait for few hours again enter your domain name.

That’s all enjoy with your custom domain name now your users easily find your blog through ott he world in online saying also easy process to your friends.

If you don’t have Custom domain name

Simply go to settings on the basic section then publishing section

Click on Add custom domain

Enter only domain name only not extension blogspot.com

Example www.example.com only enter example

Next check availablity if you have then continue google will cost you 10$ per year and google automatically setup DNS and configure all settings no need to work for these settings all.
