 Procedure for Submission of Preferences through Web Based Selection Form for Admission into Two Year D.Ed Course through DIETCET 2012 for 2012 – 14 Batch (Phase II).

1. Admissions into Two Year D.Ed Course in the State for 2012-14 batch will be made as per the rank obtained in DIETCET 2012 through Web Based Selection of Colleges.

2. The process of admission involves three stages:

1. Online submission of preferences of colleges through Web Based Selection Service.

2. Allotment of seat and download of Provisional Admission Letter.

3. Issue of Final Admission Letter after verification of certificates and payment of course fee at the district level venue identified by the Chairman DIETCET 2012 and on dates given on the Provisional Admission Letter.

3. The Web Based Selection is planned in Two Phases. The First Phase was conducted between 26.11.2012 to 17.12.2012. The Second Phase is scheduled between 07.01.2013 to 27.01.2013

4. Candidates may submit their preferences of colleges from 07.01.2012 to 11.01.2013 at Dietcet

5. To begin with, download the list of colleges that are available University area wise kept on the website Dietcet

6. Download the list of Maximum Rank (State Rank) Medium/ University / Category wise of DIETCET 2012 that is permissible for Web Based Selection of colleges for admissions into D.Ed Course for 2012 –14 batch.

7. If your rank is equal to or below the Maximum Rank in any category for which you are eligible, pay a fee of Rs.60/- at any of the e-seva or APONLINE center by giving your minimum details and obtain Transaction ID / Journal Number.

8. After obtaining the Transaction ID / Journal Number login to Dietcet and Click on the link ‘Submission of Preferences for Admission’.

9. The list of districts will be displayed on the screen.

10. Select the districts into which you wish to seek admission. The list of colleges in those districts will be displayed.

11. Follow the ‘On Screen’ instructions and messages that are given during the course of selection of your preferences (Colleges).

12. There is no limit to the number of preferences to be given. Allotment of seat depends on the State Rank of the candidate and the number of preferences submitted.

13. Before pressing the ‘Submit’ button please check thoroughly the preferences submitted

14. After submission of preferences download the pdf of submitted preferences and read the Declaration and Disclaimers.

15. Each candidate will be allowed to edit the preferences submitted by them for two times between 07.01.2013 to 11.01.2013.

16. Submission of preferences through Web Based Selection is not the end of admission procedure. It is only registration for admission. Admissions will be made exclusively in the sequence of merit.

17. If you are provisionally selected for admission to any of the colleges you will be sent sms on your mobile. Download the Provisional Admission Letter from 19.01.2013 to 21.01.2013 from

Dietcet and follow guidelines given on it with regard to certificate verification and fee payment.

18. Final Admission Letter will be issued after verification of Certificates at the district level venue identified by the Chairman DIETCET 2012 and on dates given on the Provisional Admission Letter.

19. The dates and details of any further admissions in case of any vacancies after Phase II will be informed later.

20. For candidates already admitted: All the candidates who have taken admission during the first Phase and desire to shift to any of the other colleges should also follow the same procedure as of fresh candidates. All such candidates should also compulsorily give the preference number for the college already admitted into.

21. Candidates who have paid fee for submission of preferences during Phase I of admissions but either have not submitted preferences or could not secure admission can use the same payment details for submission of preferences during Phase II
